Spring time!

We've had another busy week. It started off pretty badly with me taking Lucas to the doctor. The poor thing was just miserable, which is very unlike him. His nose was stuffed up so we thought it could be a sinus infection or an ear infection. Luckily the doc said everything was clear but he had 3 things going against him: getting a cold, getting molars, and having bad diaper rash. I guess with those 3 things I would be miserable too. Lucas is a trooper and bounced right back for our busy weekend.

We went to Agawam on Saturday to visit Lucas' great granny who is going to be 98 on Wednesday! Steve and I were so proud of him since he had to sit in a car for 1 1/2 hours and then go to a nursing home. He actually sat with granny and even shared his Cheerios with her. I know he won't remember any of this but it made granny's day. I still can't believe she's going to be 98.

Then we went to visit dad and Gale. He was getting a bit antsy but he enjoyed walking around their house. Lucas also had pizza for the first time. And, you guessed it, he loved it! He also loved grabbing everything grandpa and grammy Gale had around their house. I swear chasing him around is more tiring than running the Boston Marathon!

On Easter Lucas woke up to find his Easter basket. To be honest, he really wasn't that excited but he enjoyed shaking the plastic eggs. I filled the eggs with either Cheerios or Goldfish crackers. He liked opening them and throwing them all over the floor. After the opening of the Easter basket, the Pevznamian family went on a bike ride and then had Steve's family over for dinner. We played for hours on the new swing set and Lucas LOVED going down the slide. Now we are all exhausted. Good night.
