Butterfly Birthday Party

We celebrated Sydney's birthday was a butterfly themed party in our backyard.  We were a bit nervous at first since it downpourd all night and into the early morning hours.  Luckily, the sun shone through and it ended up being a fantastic day!

My baby is 1 today!

It has been a year since my little baby girl joined us in the world.  I can't believe it has been a year already!  Happy birthday Sydney!

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day with all the dads with a trip to Southwick's Zoo!  Lucas (and the rest of us) had a blast!  I'll post more pics later.

Beach kids

We've been having such wonderful weather that we've visited the beach for the past 2 weekends. Lucas loves the water and playing with his sand toys. Sydney loves crawling out from her tent into the blazing sun and eating sand. Mommy and daddy love changing diapers on the beach with sand in every nook and cranny.

9 Month Check-Up

I brought Sydney to the pediatrician for her 9 month check-up even though she is already 10 months old. Drum roll please.....She weighed in at 23 pounds and is 30 inches long.  The doctor said she has the stats of an average 14 month old! I guess that explains why she is hungry all the time and wants nothing more to do with baby food.

April Vacation Week
